Add Marie Osmond and Las Vegas showgirls to the list of people who can’t stand resort fees, a report on CBSNews.com says.

On Thursday, Osmond – flanked by dozens of showgirls and other performers – marched on the Vegas Strip to “protest” the fact that some large Vegas hotels charge guests mandatory resort fees.

The colorful, photo-worthy “protest,” however, was really a marketing move to promote the fact that Caesars Entertainment properties don’t charge resort fees.

Osmond even launched a “savings clock” on one of the hotel’s giant marquees, the Las Vegas Review-Journal notes.
